Delete Your GoMate Account & Data

This page explains how to delete your GoMate account and the personal data associated with it.

Option 1 — Delete in the app (instant)

Open GoMate and sign in.
Go to Settings → Delete Account.
Type delete to confirm and tap Delete Account.

Your account is closed and removed from GoMate immediately — your profile no longer appears to anyone, your upcoming plans are cancelled and you're signed out. You have 30 days to change your mind; after that, your data is permanently erased automatically (see below).

Option 2 — Request by email

If you cannot access the app, email admingomate@gmail.com from the email address associated with your Google account, with the subject "Delete my account". We will verify your request and delete your data within 30 days.

What happens immediately: your account is closed and removed from GoMate — your profile stops appearing to other users, your upcoming plans are cancelled, your push notifications stop and you're signed out.

30-day grace period: if you sign in again within 30 days you can restore your account.
Permanent erasure: after 30 days we automatically and permanently delete your account and personal data — profile, photos, verification selfie, messages, plans, connections and notifications. Reports you made about others are kept without your identity so our team can finish reviewing them. Want it gone sooner? Email admingomate@gmail.com with the subject "Erase my data".
